Inspection based risk management of electric distribution overhead lines

This paper introduces a comprehensive process based on inspection for determination of medium voltage (MV) overhead line condition and it was tried that all factors influencing the outage distribution network integrated into one index called index. A failure rate model has been proposed its unknown parameters are calculated historical data. Shortest path problem (SPP) long term scheduling maintenance reinvestment. Objective function includes sum reinvestment, costs, costs energy not supplied (ENS) with considering budget labor constraints. Finally, as result this research, optimal combination various actions such preventive (PM) tree trimming it’s determined over ten five-year horizon. Results confirmed acceptable performance method because compliance actual engineering judgment.
